PCV valve takes me about 5 seconds to replace with my eyes closed. Spark plugs to remove plugs , double check gap, and use torque wrench to torque them in to spec takes me about 4 minutes.

Hey dorko. Go buy a Haynes or Chiltons manual from an Autozone for $15. This has all the info you need and more.

PCV valve(singular, meaning one, not valves), is just a "breather" type deal on your valve cover, the spark plugs need a spark plug socket tht kinda "grips" the spark plug so you can pull it out of the head.

By the way it sounds, I would not recommend changing your brake bads yourself, not to flame but you don't sound that mechanically inclinded. It's almost impossible to **** up installing a pcv valve and spark plugs are damn easy as well but if you have no experience and nobody to watch you, I wouldn't change my own pads...just my $.02.

Good advice. If you mess up your brake pad install, you may die, or crash. So wait til you get some experience with taking the car apart and putting it back together before you try that. Spark plugs, go for it!

That's very "not good" on the tranny.

For a while I was not sure if you were serious about the pc valve & plugs and the use of the english language. The language on some of these posts scares me. I hope you drive better than you write.

so an auto is not used for racing huh? only a manual that is what my friend told me. I guess I will just stick to looks and no racing in that car u know just stick to the air intake and exaust. Nothing more noting less...........do u know or does anybody know what the green S light in your car means when it keeps blinking on and off? i mean i could b driving sometimes and then the light comes on and blinks on and off like crazy sometimes. And then i might get gas and it goes off then later like month or so it comes back on and starts blinking what does that mean does that have somthing to do with my tranny or just a wire or something cause my car drives good as heck.

no no, its not that all autos are not good for racing, its just that when you rev it up in neutral and drop it into gear(aka neutral drop) it will destroy your motor. to launch with an auto, leave it in gear, hold down brakes all the way, rev it up to around 2000-2500 rpm and simaltaneously let of the brakes and slam on the gas peddle. this method, aka torque braking, is much safer than neutral dropping. as for racing, almost in all cases, a manual tranny is much better than an auto(unless the auto has an upgraded TC with rebuilt internals).

razor said it, dropping it into gear is HORRIBLE for the tranny. i would seriosuly suggest getting the helms manual at autozone. i just got mine for christmas and it's great (for only 16$). the pcv and spark plugs aren't hard. breaks really aren't hard either if you know a litlte about cars or have that manual.
about the S. the s is for your sport shift, i have never saw one blink and it doesn't say anything in the helms about it so i couldn't help ya.

O well i called this tranny place today and they told me when it blinks like that there is something worng well his exact words were like "When the S light is blinking that(the engine) is telling u there is something wrong with the tranny" Which i find hard to b tru cause if the engine was telling me something was wrong with my Tranny wont the check engine light come on? thats what i think. Other then thank my car is fine.

i don't know, the engine light is an engine code, i'd think if something was wrong with your sport shift maybe. it's probably blinking like a code given off from sport shift. ask a dealership maybe, i've never heard it doing that.

Helms != $16.00
You probably got the haynes, which will work, but is far inferior to the Helms manual found @ http://www.helminc.com

There is hardly any english in this whole thread makes me dizzy
