Default turbo or nitrous with a stock type r motor?

ok, it's not a b18c5, it's a c1 but she's getting a total overhaul which includes all type r internal engine components including head......so my question is, which is safer to install after about 10-20K miles of break in, turbo running 7 psi or nitrous 55 shot? I will be upgrading all of the fuel system including pump, filter, rail, and adding an fpr and of course an fmu if i get a turbo kit. I'm still investigating hondata systems as well. any comments are appreciated, thanks guys

why stay away from Nawws , you knwo from experience , or becuase your a **** talker?
I have had 3 diff nitrous kits on my car and now doing turbo next week .
both are equally safe as long as you have the right equip and tuned correctly.
Nitrous however might be safer because its not there all the time putting more stress on the motor. just use it when you want .
Now boost is there all the time , granted you can drive it and not boost it , but thats very hard to do .. . i know i wouldnt be able to control my self
either or . get a good fuel system . and fuel management . i have a hondata for mine so tuning will be a sinch

actually nitrous is a sit load cheaper and how is it less forgiving?
if it doesnt work you can still drive the car atleast, as long as you didnt **** the motor up . . . . which wouldnt happen if set up right and tuned correctly.

How about someone here speak from true knowledge and experience besides me .

Wouldn't it be better to do a Supercharger instead of a Turbo? Since the ITR has so little torque, I've always thought it to be a better upgrade. As a matter of fact, I think that would go for almost all VTEC enabled cars. What are others opinions on this?

superchargers are great for low end and quick power with nolag. . . . but i hanvent seen any that really impress me power wise.
great for road racign applications , but shiity for drag racing .
thats my opinion though.

I say stay away from nitrous too. Not because it's any tougher on the motor, just because it's lame to have to refill a bottle every time you want to go fast. IMO, nitrous is the Cinderella story of cars, once the bottle is empty your chariot turns back into a pumpkin.

If mid 13's are "quick as hell" than so is mine. However, for pure drag racing a turbo or nitrous is going to make you faster.

That's what I'm saying. If you're lokking for real quick ETs, you're going to have to use nitrous or a turbo.

A supercharger on 5.5psi or a decent all motor setup will only get you into the 13's. Not slow, but not exactly fast either.
