hey guys,

whenever i drive my car, it will drive normal then it will bring the rpms up high then i will get goign alot faster. So my car wont fully be in gear but somtimes it will go from being into gear to where when i press the gas pedal all i get is reving then it will seem to be in gear again. So im guessing its poping in and out of gear?

this probley makes no scence what so ever but i need some suggestions on what the problem would be/how to fix it. My backyard mechanic isnt home right now and he doesnt usally take on jobs with tranmissions anymore since he teaches automotive at a school now
