RevHard vs Fmax
I am deciding on both kits
the rev hard is a little cheaper and dosent come with a t3/t4,
the fmax is more but requires no fabrication and comes with a hybrid
any personal expirences on these
and before you say "drag" I cant afford a gen 4 kit, and the gen 3s have too many problems imo

yea i heard a alot of good stuff
but on the other hand I like how the f-max's goal is to keep realibility with the detonation detector, the low compression head gasket, the new injectors, fuel pump, fmic...
i dunno...******* f/i

i chose a DRAG3 over both kits...

Im sure your aware of the generation 3 manifolds being, well....****
My friends 95 gsr has had his manifold crack twice and he is still running the stock 7 psi, so I havent had a good expirence with drag

well Fmax is a good turbokit but what you see the most at racetracks are revhard turbokits. If you want reliablility then Fmax but if you want big numbers and plan on going to the track Revhard
P.S revhard stage 2= T3/T40B, stage 2C= T3/T04E

nah, there isnt a drag track for maybe 200 miles so I dont drag that often. I wont be taking it past 10psi so big hp numbers isnt what Im looking for, but just enough to be decently fast. I got i/h/e, bored tb, and a skunk 2 intake manifold, so its not slow by any means.
whats burning in your avatar ?
if your not lookin for massive amounts of HP then go w/ the fmax kit . only thing i dont like about the fmax kits is that you have to remove your front tow-hooks for the piping to fit .
EDIT: i noticed in your sig one of your future upgrades is going to be ctr rods and pistons ? you plan on using those for boost ?

2 x 440cc secondaries.... under no boost there is no extra fuel being provided.... once 1 psi comes in, those injectors start adding a little bit of fuel. It's designed to keep it at the perfect a/f ratio for 10 psi. If you throw on the head gasket they provide, the nyou cna bump it up to 12 or 13.
good luck.
custom is my route
good luck.

I hate reading false information, like the drag 3 kit is junk. THe manifolds of the Gen 2 drag kits werent that great, but I had a drag 3 kit for over a year, and had zero problems.
As for the rants and raves on why anyone would classify a kit as being bad for not having a t3/t04e, here is some words of wisdom:
I made 270whp/ 229 ft/lbs on a drag 3 kit w/ a small t04b and hondata w/ rc 500 cc injectors. this was at about 10.5 psi this was on a very small Greddy SP exhaust. If you arent going to build your block, why in the world would you need a bigger compressor for the ls motor which doesnt flow as much as say a gsr motor. Unless you like lag, like to brag, or plan on building the motor, i dont see why you should get such a big turbo.
Next is price, I paid $2600 shipped for my drag 3 kit, it would be extremely hard to find the other kits at this price, you can use the money you saved and spent it on standalone.
That being said, I just got done piecing together a kit of my own. It was actually quite a bit cheaper, and using all the parts i feel that are best quality, I think the best way to go, if you have the time, is to piece together a custom kit.

realiability? low boost levels? good value? Maybe niether, but I like Greddy's Kit. very factory esque install.
Otherwise, Revhard or Drag for my fake b18. ive been happy with my greddy SOHC. Also, Maxrev is very good as well. good luck and have fun boosting.
