CTR cams vs. ITR cams
I tried the search but it mainly came up with "classifieds". What are the specs on the CTR cams vs. the ITR cams and are they worth the $ to switch? Anyone have dyno plots with the two different set-ups? Is there a difference when it comes to the changeover?
Thanks guys and gals!

jun vs toda can not be determined due to diffrent circumstances such as tuning.
itb's w/ JUN cams are fine.
highest horsepower(street header) was the hytech unit.
ITB's well cut your gas milage in half as they are not built for street use.

he's right, the CTR intake cam is almost certainly physically identical to the '00+ ITR intake cam. the '98 and '00+ ITR exhuast cams are the exact same, however.

CTR cam has like .1 or .01 more duaration, which makes a a lil better than the 00+ itr cam.

If they are different, they are still so close it doesnt even matter. IMHO, not worth changing a 98 R spec cam to a 00Spec, just get Toda A's or something with a little more oomph.

Just to add to the Upgrade to Toda or JUN camp . . . . Upgrading is good but, After buying the 00/01 cam for $290 (New) and selling my 98 Cam for $200 I paid $90 for 6 whp. Toda A's even if you got $300-$400 for your stock cams would cost $500+ so $/hp it isn't a bad idea.
