Dose anyone know the stock redline on a 93 cx hatch 1.5L.

 

its either 5500 or 6500..

or

somewhere in between

But

I really dont think it matters in a stock CX.....

CX's take like a million years to get near that redline.......

 

i think its 6500 or 6800..not sure which though..

6500 its the redline i used to own this engine for a year and anything after its power peak which is 70hp@4500 at the flywheel its not worth it .....

 

d15b7 has 102h@5900 i believe and 98tq@5000 and the redline is 6800 or something like that so take it to 6500 1st gear to land in power band in second in that long *** tranny...

 

If I'm not mistaken its the D15B8, something like 70hp and 90 someodd tq. Shoot, its not worth it too find the redline, that is unless you're getting on the highway realize how incredibly underpowered the car is and have to gun it to avoid being crushed by an 18 wheeler cruising at 50

Sorry, I just read the "what does it take to become an H-T member" thread and I feel bad for being a little ***** now. I'd actually like to know what the redline is on a B18B7 as well.
