Default traction ?

I just installed a B18B in my 92 cx. (Mods are in sig) After driving around a week to break in the clutch (ACT recommends 200-300 mile break in period) I take my car out to some remote road and try it out. To my suprise, I CANT GET ANY TRACTION!!!!! When I'm in 1st, I cant get off the line, I just sit there burning!
So I just tried to launch off slowly and reving high to catch up. What kind of tires/ shocks do you guys recommend me use? I currently have neuspeed race springs with worn out shocks, nearly bald tires on 95 gsr stocks
I also have a nearly empty bank account after the swap.... thanks!!!!

I love the motor, I love the torque!!! By far the easiest swap ever, complete bolt on. I cant wait till i get better at launching...

im assuming to didnt get a type-r tranny but imho you should get an lsd and 205 width tires, so3's or falkens. youre looking at anther $1500 after instaltion but you shouldnt have such a traction problem.

just get better tires. Some roads are horrible anyways and won't allow for any traction.

no way man. my friend had some nitto 555s on his hatch and he could never get really good traction w/them for racing so he got some falken azenis and instead of screaching the tires for like 5 secs when he changed gears it was only a little screach. he has to get a new suspension to go with them though.

yeah, a type-r lsd tranny would be really good. u could launch at a higher rpm.
