Default Does the PR3 ECU store error codes?

So i finished the swap (pics are in sig if anyones interested ) and on the 2nd test drive i got on it in 3rd and the CEL popped on. Well i was going to check it as soon as I got home, but i stopped at safeway. So i turned back on the car, no more CEL. Got on it again, no CEL. So im wondering if it happens again, will i have to check it with the car on, or can i go a cycle and will it store the code in the ECU? The only thing i think it could be is that im running 1 02 and I have the secondary 02 tapped in at the ecu harness. Hopefully its nothing more than that, everything else is running perfectly, including the tranny - no 3rd gear grinds from a S1!!

TIA

-Todd

Ya, it does. You should reset the ecu.
