Guys.. what kind of gas mileage do you get with your b16a2 on stock ecu's? I seem to be getting pretty crappy gas mileage yet I'm not sure since I just got the car..

 

in my 00 si whether i had my turbo kit, i/h/e or just stock, it always seemed to be around 270-290 mainly all highway till the gas light came on, or if it was all city i would be lucky to get 200 a tank.

 

in my 00 Si, I get about 340 max, and 300 average, in my 90 RHD EF9 I get about 392 kmh, which is really crappy

2000 Si with a 12 gallon tank(I'm only saying that because if you do a swap into a car with a smaller tank that will obviously affect the miles per tank...for instance on my hatch it has an 8 gallon tank so that would be less miles per tank) I get on the average 250 a week that's highway and city!!!

30mpg??? man i'm gettin more like 20 mpg.. of course I'm on it a lot but I would still expect more than 20mpg! its a 1.6 for cryin out loud!

 

99 Si gets pretty suck mileage in-town. On an all-highway trip, I've gotten as high as 340ish, but 280 is the norm.

VTEC cam gets 454 Chevy mileage. If you've never run your car on a road course, you wouldn't BELIEVE how much gas these little motors can guzzle.

 

250 - 330 miles depending on how I drive.

 

29.5mpg on average.
Thats freeway and city boosting...err i mean driving

 

In my 98 Hatch with a B16A2, I average 30-32 in the summer, but in the winter it goes to crap (about 26-28). This is mostly highway driving but I do like to wind it out in 1st and 2nd gear when I get the chance. This will be my first winter with the AEM CAI and DC 4-1 header, so I may get a bit different averages this winter.

 

I get about 300 daily beaten gas miles to a full tank. I got 350 once though...good ****

 

i get about 275-300 in a tank, if im lucky, but i drive kinda hard...VtEc 0wns me!

 

Hmm.. a lot of different figures from different peeps.. Would you guys say that it is normal for me to only get 20mpg in city driving during winter with CAI/4-2 Header/Catback?

 

if i drive normal that is if i do not use vtec at all i can almost get 300 miles to the tank...I actually get about 288 before i need to fill up...Also i am running extremely rich and burning more fuel then i really need to. Damn o2 sensor and knock sensor...but if everything is normal on the car it may just be the way that you are driving....try to shift about 3.5 or 4 rpm's

 

 

I get pretty good highway mileage with the gsr tranny. I am not running the stock ECU, I am using a mugen programmed p28. I average about 20-24mpg.
