Clutch master cylinder
Well it is good to be back. I haven't been here for quite some time. Long enough that my user name has been purged. Anyway I just recently developed a leak in the plunger of the clutch master cylinder. It is bad enough that this morning I didn't have enought fluid in the resevoir to even put the car in gear. I'll try to install a new one tonight. My question is how do you blead a hydrolic clutch? Is it the same as brakes? I haven't seen a bleader valve. I'm picking up a Haynes book tonight for my car. Hopefully it can answer some of my questions. If anyone would like to offer hints on this project I'd appreciate it. Thanks.
yes, save your money for a helms.
And yes, you do need to bleed the clutch system. in front of the transmission, left of the engine block stamp, slave cylinder with bleeder valve.
