Default best way to get low-mid rpm power?

I will be running a B18C. Looking to get some good low-mid range power. Here are my ideas:
One piece cai
4-1 header (not sure which one)
cat-back exhaust (2.25" or 2.5"?)
I am just looking for bolt-ons for now (with nitrous). Any suggestions? thanks.

The consences is that alot more of the 4-2-1 headers out there perform better in the low-mid end than there 4-1 counter parts.....

4-1 USUALLY gives better high end but not as much low end...

Torque ownz me

any idea about the rpm levels, or dyno results for the different headers?

http://www.dcsports.com. They have dyno charts on a B18C1. Who know's how "accurate" they are though.

Apex'i headers are also a Tri-Y design...heard they were pretty good on getting top end power too. Not too friendly with the wallet though....

The best way to really take advantage of your bolt-ons is cam gears. You really need to tune your cams to the power band you prefer. Try a 4-2-1 header like Comtech or Apex'i and a CAI will help out in the midrange. The only way to maximise power is to dyno tune.

larger displacement, 4-2-1 header, and 2.25 to 2.5" exhaust piping.

if you want low and mid range, don't use a cai. use a type-r air box and intake with a drop-in comptech filter

2.25 piping would help as well

Although I'm not a big fan of AEM CAIs, I will say that they have a massive hp increase in the 4500-6000rpm range. So yes they do help out over a stock ITR box and filter.

I am not a big fan of AEM for soem reason, I was looking at the Injen, Iceman, or just some off brand one off of ebay. I really like Iceman....that plastic idea is great!
