Sohc ZC VS Dohc ZC on boost

I just lost a cylinder in my dx motor on boost.. i want to get a new motor which would be a better boost motor... it is going into a first gen crx..

Turbo the DOHC...you will probably get a little more low-end

there is a jdm d15 sohc zc vtec .. and a d16 zc dohc... and.. are there any reason why not to get one over the other
