i believe there is a jdm sohc vtec motor similar to a d16z6 with the code zc on it. Check for the vtec solenoid.

ZC comes in both SOHC n' DOCH...and also there is a ZC vtec and i believe that it the (european version)..and in both the cable version and hydro tranny version..i have a sohc zc in my EF..just look at where the motor stamping is and it'll say ZC on it without and number or so..

I'm running a JDM ZC right now in my hatch.
Exact same as my D16Z6 in every way

There's alot of confusion out there regarding this engine. The D15B (SOHC ZC) is the rough JDM equivalent to the D16Z6.

Although I only stock the 92-95 version, I believe it also exists in the previous generation.
