heres the deal a b16 in my crx with a vafc and i was cruising on the highway at about 75, and when i guned it to pass a car i got a cel got to a gas station looked at the ecu and it was 22. i also noticed an oil leak that i think is coming from the solinoid but im not sure gonna check it tomorrow. do u guys think this could be the problom or maybe the vafc has bad connection? it has never hapend before. thanks again.

 

A couple of things... how long have you had your VAFC hooked up???? My buddy just installed his on a GSR and we are having the same problem, so I guess I am pretty much giving you a bump due to the fact that I have no clue. I've read that it could be your oil level (if it's too low it won't let Vtec kick in) Sorry for not being much of a help

BUMP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! keeps happening to "turborex"... we need an answer!!

 

dude i told you we should of made a new post not bring this one back from many moons ago (tells nersports to get the flame suits ready) but seriously this sh*t keeps happening only on the highway i get into vtec let off at like 80 in 4th.......and bam.....cel as its coming down in rpm.

 

maybe another lil bump wont hurt... HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
