Stuck thermostat + leaking (pick one or more: radiator, weeping waterpump, misc hoses) Get the thermostat replaced for about $60 bucks and go from there.

Edit: you will destroy the motor if you let it go to RED too many times. Get it fixed ASAP.

Korean mixed with?

Ic...how many miles on the car? You can replace the thermostat pretty easy so don't worry too much about that.

One caution: if you replaced the top hose, you might've torqued the top of the radiator alittle too much. Like, you leaned on it and made it start to leak. Is it the original radiator with a plastic top? Or an all metal one. You can go and tap the top of it with a piece of metal if your not sure...

Whoa...hold on! You might not have to replace all that! If the hoses aren't leaking, I'd leave them alone. Same goes for the radiator. Also, if the radiator is all metal, it can be fixed.

It sounds like 1) your thermostat is stuck. 2) you've got a leak somewhere. My own thinking is to 1) find the leak. 2) FOR SURE replace the cheap stuff (like the thermostat) first.

Changing a water pump is very expensive and labor intensive...you've got to take alot of things off to even get to it.

First, make sure the fans are working at all times the gauge goes above half. Check the sensor for the fans, and turn the AC on... that should make the fans go round. Second, check to make sure you're not losing too much coolant. When the car is cool, look for the trace lines where the coolant may have leaked out of and stuff. See if you can pinpoint where the leak is coming from. Third, remove the thermostat and replace. It's a 10 dollar item, should only take an hour at most to replace that pos. Be sure to put it in the right way.

That's the order I would follow on my car...

Sorry if I missed this somewhere but, what year Accord do you have. If you have a 94-97 try http://www.TheAccordStore.com They have OEM honda parts and aftermarket parts. I believe they have some kit that has the water pump, timing belt, power steering belt and something else, can't remember.
