For those who want CAI with out the bogg off the line AEM has steped up there CAI
Well reading thew the pages of the new Super Street I came across a add by AEM introducing there new V2 CAI "The AAEM V2 Cold Air utilizes a dual chamber (using two different diameters adn lenghts of piping.) to create multiple frequency sound wavs that help charge the cylinders with air throughout the entire Rpm range" IT is 4' 3/4 the way up then goes back to stock size. They show a dyno or a 99-00 SI and just like the ITR on a regular CAI there is a great gain in upper RPMS and a 10 hp jump at 4K they compare it to the new V2 and it gains about 1-2 more HP from 4250 all the way to redline and that giant jump of WHP at 4350K is now at 3250.Also in the Tq curve the spike is also earlier by the same amount as HP
. So for those who want say the off the line perfomance of the J's or a short ram but would like to get the benifits of a CAI I think the V2 is exactly what u are looking for.
To AEM for making the good better
Just thaught I would share seeing how there is has been so much talk about what intake is better (etc)
