Default Turbo Build up Advice Needed. Knock sensor on B20 block ?

Guys, I hear that B20 blocks dont come with a Knock sensor, i need to know what is the best route to go ? because i hear that B20z blocks that are jdm come with a factory Knock sensor, isnt that sensor needed for proper vtec operation or something? im going with a b16 or b18c head, and the motor will be sleeved for turbo and im using a P28 w/ hondata ..

do i need the sensor or not ? already know the P28 wont read it but what do you guys suggest ?

if your runnign the p28 which doesn't read the knock sensor, then you dont need the knock sensor on the block.

Knock sensor will not affect vtec.

I acutally like to disengage the knock sensor sometimes on turbo cars. It's more of pain in the **** then helpfull.
