What do you mean? All the 88-91 CRX tail lights are interchangeable. You just have to make sure and swap out the bulb wire harness. Basically take out the bulbs from your original lights with harness and all, and put them in the new ones.

 

i wasnt sure since they look different. i wasnt sure if maybe the older ones or the bigger ones were a lil bigger or something.

 

Nope, they are all the same size. They just changed them a bit.

 

yup all plug and play...you just have to take the center piece of the rear interior off to take the center light out...everything else bolts up and the bulbs plug right up...

 

i could of sworn when i tried to put 88 crx si lights on a 90 hf, the wiring harness was different. i just swapped the bulb wiring harness over on each light and they worked fine.

 

Yes you have to switch the lighting wire harness over if you want it to be plug and play. The 88-89 are different from the 90-91 plugs.

 

Nah man, I put in SeriesII onto my '89. Straight fit, everything plugs in fine. I heard a diff story though if u wanted to slap on the JDM CRX SiR ones though.

 

88-89 wiring is the same. 90-91 is the same. 88-89 to 90-91 is different.

 

Hmm, I dunno what I did then. I just slapped them lights on and they work perfectly fine. I didn't have to change any wiring

 

you must have used 88 or 89 lights then since your car is an 89.
