Default Adjustable Fuel Press. Regulator

I'm looking for a decent adjustable regulator for my 93 VTEC. I don't want to have to butcher up my stock regulator hence I don't want a B&M and the like. I've heard of AEM regulators, what about aeromotive? Anyone had any experence with these? Are they boltin, install out of the box? I'm also wondering if I can lower my pressure as well as raise it with these units, I've heard you can only raise your fuel pressure from the stock setting. I recently added a Walbro 255lph intank pump for my Nitrous set-up, but when I run N/A my car run's horribly rich with the new fuel pump. That's the reason I'm looking to lean back my fuel pressure a bit with a regulator. I don't really have the money for a APEXi AFC etc right now either. Any suggestions/help?

I'm with Corey on this one, I've heard good things about the AEM one, and their fuel rail. It's a true adjustable pressure regulator. Not just a fuel pressure "raiser."

The B&M one will only raise your pressure, it won't help drop it. That's the probem I ran into with my old B&M... I have a Walbro 342, and I could spit flames like my car was a pissed off dragon. I'm also running a VAFC now, but I might not be for much longer depending on which EMS I go with.

Anyway, I don't have any personal experience with either the AEM or the other one, if you don't get enough responses here, you might check in the tech forum, fuel pressure regulators are pretty much universal.

The AEM FPR is around 150 or so shipped. The FPR's that use the bottom half of your stock regulator are cheaper, but you need to do some work. (Cut the top off of the stock one)

I just received a AEM and will be installing it this weekend. (Along with a B&M FPG)

If you can save up another 150, you can get a Vafc. (Or the model that you want)

Get an aeromotive one.. Just as good as the AEM but less in price.. Its a full 1:1 regulator as well and can fit on the AEM rail..

Can be found for like 125 shipped most places..

I usually run anywhere from 38 to 40psi using a 255 walbro intake..
