i was thinking of putting the del sol engine in my civic cx is this a smart idea or is there a better engine to put in my civic. Maybe like a b18c.

 

Depends on which engine. They're basically the same as the rest of the Civics of that generation with the exception of the B16 in del Sol VTEC model. Although a B18c1 would also be a good choice if you have the cash.

 

how much horse power does the del sol vtec have?

i think that the del sol dohc vtec has like 160 or so and the gsr motor has like 175. not sure, though. but that sounds right. i'd get the gsr motor though, b/c there seems to be alot more for it than the del sol
