Default F22 DOHC in my moms accord..

for all u ****** who arent looking in the other thread.

got 2 issues. the trans is having probs. dunno if its the ECU or the trans itself as it has ~60 more HP to deal with. does the SOHCno vtec and SOHC vtec use the same auto trans?? and the EGR CEL is on, but we dont know exactly why yet

you know, I ususally ignore you jackasses, but tonight i am in a particularly foul mood. bad day at work, traffic sucked, and I had leftovers for dinner

you sir, are a halfwit. you are such a lame *** that you have nothing better to do with you time than to 1)search out a honda chat board 2)register for it 3)Create a new thread 4)spend 10 minutes coming up with a one line insult that you probably think is the height of wit. 5) and then, come back later, when you have come up with another literary gem to share with us, and post again.

Since you are the coolest guy in the room, and you obviously know a shitload more about cars than any of us could ever hope to comprehend, why don't you enlighten us as to what car we should drive. We all just want to be cool and have friends, so maybe if you tell us what you drive, we can all go buy one and be cool just like you are.

on second though, I couldn't care less what you drive, fuckturd.

go swim in a bucket of AIDS. I hope you get colin cancer and spend the rest of your miserable existance shitting into a plastic bag.

i paied ~400 for the motor, might have been 450. i forget. anyways, steve at hmotorsonline.com has a couple left there.

i a using the ECU that came with this f22. its an auto ecu. i just talked to steve tonight, and he wants me to switch back to the stock SOHC ECU and if it shifts good, he is gonna swap out eCU for me.

what problems are you having? i have the same motor and i am using the stock tranny as well. i have the stock ecu to my accord engine running the motor and it is doing fine until i can get my accord ecu or integra ecu chiped to h23 specs.

EGR: I guess you are still using the accord ecu....so you'll need tu put the Accord's engine egr valve....(there's only 3 blots to take off)

when you'll use the P14 ecu(H23 ecu) you'll need to put back the F22B's egr...

and you'll have to put a knock sensor some where int the engine....(the H23 is using Knock sensor and the F22B does'n have any knock sensor)

Tranny: dunno!!!

Price: the F22B is a verry unxpensive swap idea.....especially when you are doing 15.11 with minor bolt on(ractive header+2 1/4 custom xhaust) .....

I paid mine 1000$ Can engine+tranny(610$ US)...I can have the engine only for like 700$ Can(450$ US)...

Something else....the F22B+H23+F22A4/1 can use(with minor grinding) a mitsu 4G63T turbo manifold...the ports a str8 bolt-on ...the bolts patern need some verry minor modification to make it fit....dsm manifold a verry innexpensive and 16G are not too bad too.....

My turbo kit is almost done for my F22B....Hoping going in the 13's by the end of the summer....

I dont understand y civic's people don't get this engine instead of the verry expensive B18C....ok the F22B is'n bolt on in the civic's engine bay...but it's quite easy to make it fit there....and I'm pretty sure that the F22B is more powerful than the B18C(a lot more torque in the F22B)....

and it's perfect for boosting...non vtec...no overlapping...quite low compression ratio(around 9.5:1 9.8:1).....

I sucks at english by the way, I'm french...hope you guys will understand wat I say!!!!

this motor actually sems to be froem an 90-91 car, becasue the map sensor was not on the TB, it was forewall mountedx. my moms car had a TB mounted map sensor (m94) so we had to move the TB over.

I'd like to hear more about this! It sounds like a modification that I can pursue on my F22A4 engine!

What about the DOHC engine? Does it pass smog? My engine's pushing 230k and I'm thinking about replacing it with a fresher engine. Besides, my motor mounts are busted, and it's about time for some major work.

use an h22 TB the Map sens is mounted on the TB and youll get a bit of a gain from the larger TB if you port the intake mani/plenum
