cruise control.... possible?

Default cruise control.... possible?

i was wonder if anyone knew how to put in a cruise control into my hatch with a zc. i have an 88 teg with cruise i was wondering if i could use that one and if not where would i get the cruise from?

Yes, it is possible. Not sure about the teg parts, but you can get everything from the 88-91 sedan.

I don't think the ECU controls the cruise at all. The cruise box taps into the speed sensor signal and tach signal under the dash behind the radio. From there it monitors and manipulates the accelerator pedal through a box under the hood. A cable goes from the box under the hood to the accerator pedal.

So, you will need to swap the accerator pedal and get all the cruise parts and then deal with a wiring mess. You sure you really want to do this? It's possible, but seems like MAAAAAD work.

with my cruise, there was a purple box under the dash, not sure what it connected to. and under the hood was a vacuum activated thingy like most cruise cars and then thats about it.. oh yeah, the lever that controls it.

well its just a pain driving 4 hours with out cruise and also to nigra which is 9 hours

Brick on the floor, and piece of string around the pedal.

It'll make that 4 hours zoom by real quick
