dynamat trunk install
to do it effectivly you will have to pull all of the carpeting out of your trunk. some areas in your trunk will need it more than others. the idea behind sound deadning is to change the resonant frequency for the metal so it wont ring. thicker metal in the trunk will not need it as much as the thinner metal. the trunk lid is very important to do. if you want it to look good after you dynamat it get some 1/8 inch masonite or hardboard and cut it to fit the lid, either in one big piece or smaller pieces to fit between the supports. then just glue some carpet to them and screw them on to your bracing making sure you use short screws. the rest of the moulded carpeted pieces will fit back into place pretty easy, prvided the dynamat is not put on to thick. if your trunk has the standard charcoal grey carpet, I would recomend going to a car audio shop and get the good box carpet and spray glue.good luck
