ok in order for me to open my hood, i have to hold up the lever, while someone pushes my hood down, then it will open...how would i fix this soi can just pop it open with lifting the lever...

 

Alot of us have had this problem. What I did to fix this was to pop the hood and remove the support where the hood locks into. I then cleaned it all off and put it back in and tightened it back down almost as hard as I could. Now it pops every time I need.

All I did was adjust the part that is on the hood. There is a slot to stick a flat head screw driver, and turn it left so it adjusts up a little. Now mine works perfect
