Well our project car is now out and running....So far we have it running dam good on 10 psi...With the CX trans, I have pushed it to 85mph in second so far..Got some more Rpms to go....Sometime this week we are going to add a touch of fuel and turn the boost up to 20psi and see how that holds. Right now it spins very bad in first and continues to spin through second if you dont feather it. The LSD is very tight it makes turning more difficult. For anyone who has seen it out in Winchester, we put the bumper on now(some more trimming was needed). Id say after this upcoming week we will be at 25psi and starting to use the NX. For a D-series this thing rocks....Oh Brian, we got the fueling problems solved it wasnt the fuel pressure...the wastegate wasnt opening. Fixed that...

What are the specs of the turbo you are running? When does it hit full boost and begin to spool?

 

The turbo gets full boost at 4000 rpm....WG is wide open then...

I can't see him making 300whp @15psi... Why do you think thats possible? He has pretty low compression, on standard comp most people are making 250- 270 @15psi...

Once this car is in second gear, it starts to haul ***....I would have to say we are at around 240-250whp now....I believe at 15psi we should be close to 280-290 I dont believe 300whp is possible at 15psi unless I was to use a cam and cam gear set.....Something we are not going with until we get it tuned for 25psi and the NX....

look like we will have to start beating up on all the other now....since we only have little SOHC's ya know?? hahahaha

i dont beleive anyone with 8:1 comp. is goin to see 300whp on 15psi... i think this setuo will see 375whp-400whp on 25-30psi, which he plans to run....

oh yeah i will be down there today to se the beast in action!!!!

I am sure its fast we talking with out NOS above right?? Those figures will not be correct definitely on the high side IMO.. I can't see you making more then 260whp at 15psi with that kind of C/R... of course this doesn't really matter though as you intend to run much higher boost and Nos .

 

LOL...Brian, Kim just left the shop....I took her out in the car....Launched it spun really bad in first,pedaled it, got it in second and ran it out to 8K..<thats about 85mph>...I scared the **** outta her!....lol....BTW guys, she owns a GSX AWD with a turbo almost as large and lots of mods.....But being that her car weighs a ton and a half..lol..3600 to my 2200....She said shes definetly buying a Supra!...lol

Heh decent vid but hard to gauge speed got pics of the engine bay??

 

There are pics of the engine and the car with no bumper on the board somewhere...lol...Just to tell you that 1st gear will go to , I think, 50mph and 2nd goes to 88mph.....So far this is only on 10psi.....We are checkin things out right now, and will be turning it up to 20psi Friday night....We will be heading out to BK in Manassas on Sat. for some fun...Little more fuel added at the top and we will be just right....
