Oh yes....that is insane! I wonder how those air/air intercoolers are doing. wonder if they get enough airflow to them. it must be hard to tune. He's got one turbo, one i/c and one wastegate for each bank of cyl. That's got to be hard to get boost equal on both sides.

not that i should even be talking but wouldnt boost be more stable if he had joined both outputs into one before the intercooler and run one big intercooler instead of two?i dont know. those pictures just made me stupid!!!!

Not only would it be more stable, but much more easier to tune and make much more power. Thats why TT Ssupras get a single turbo upgrade, not stick with two smaller ones.

I cant even begine to immagine the amount of time and money spent customizing this car in order to be able to receive this install.

Looking at the piping in the thumbnails makes me think there is a big *** silver legged spider on that engine.

I saw a better setup on the Miami auto show a couple of weeks ago in a blue Diablo. Too bad I didn't have a camera.

Twin turbos will make more power faster than a single turbo. AND Those turbos total Cfm output are more than a single T-88

some of you peeps need to hit the books.

We're talking 5.7L V-12, not 3.0 Inline 6

Yeah no **** they do. The ones hitting the books need to focus on them a little harder. They's slow if you know what I mean.

supras go single turbo for power reasons
..and also because a large single setup is less complex.

CFM being reached has more importance in spool time then setup. A twin setup on supras spools barely (ie within 200 rpms) before a big single. Alot of the reason supras go single is that is is much cheaper then a twin setup. compare a t78 or even 66 kit to a hks twin kit.....youll understand...

BTW the t78 makes more power

That car looks like something that would come out of Bob Norwoods shop. He's done a bunch of twin turbo ferraris that look alot crazier than that. I would have to say the 1200hp twin turbo f50 would be my ultimate street car!

A less complex kit is cheaper, no?
The answer is yes AND no....

If you look at it one way, you could stick with the stock twins, BPU++the MKIV raise the boost and run the same times as and get the same amount of power as some of the smaller single kits (SP series). In this example the stocks are obviously more complex, more strained but less expensive.

If you look at it the other way, (both upgraded twin setups and single setups). The HKS twins setup range from $7900-$11850 whereas a single setup capable of the same power only costs around $3900 (T61/T78) up to $4400 (T88).
