Default Steering problem

Had some repair work done and now...
Steering doesnt feel right... there isnt as much resistance on the wheel as there used to be, and it doesnt feel as responsive in the begginings of a turn.

I dont know very much about cars.. but I really like my car.. and want it to feel perfect.
btw.. i drive a 98 accord coupe 4cyl lx

I already checked the fluid level... Its at the top indicator...

I slid into a curb... one wheel collided with it.
The rim had to be replaced .. and two other things... i think they were the air intake... and a steering rod? iam not sure about the last one.. and also i got an alignment.

I'm interested also, due to the fact that I just curbed my car a couple weeks ago and haven't really gotten to much done yet.

Is this all that you replaced? How hard did you hit?

its not out of alignment... it was just realigned... i hit at probably 15mph? it was straight off from a red light.. it was raining and the road had leaves in it...
After i hit, the steering wheel had to be turned to the right to make the car go straight... thats all better now... but the feel isnt right now..
so.. any ideas?

just cause they aligned it doesn't mean they fixed toe or camber issues

did you get a print out of the alignment? if you did give the measurements

With a curb hit like that, you sound like you might've screwed up the control arm. The whole arm might be bent out of alignment at some angle.

sounds like air bubbles in your power-steering system. Bleed the system by starting up the car and, without moving, turn the steering wheel all the way to the right then all the way to the left a couple times.

Sure, why not?

Also, it would be good for the life of your tires if you did it in a water puddle or something. Don't "force-it" at the end of lock" either...not good for the pump (you'll hear it whinning)...
