Default NO VTEC. Help

With my p28 ecu I keep pulling a Coolant Temperature code as well as vtec pressure switch. I see a few of you out there that are pulling vtec pressure and vtec works fine, so that is not my worry right now. Is vtec not working because of that coolant temperature code? The ecu has stage 2 Hondata if that matters, I can wrap the damn thing wherever I want but above 6,000 it's got NO power. When my ecu pulls that code does that mean the car thinks the motors too warm or too cold? Oviously cold, because it takes 5 or 6 times of turning over the key to get the car to start in the mornings, even after sitting in a heated garage the whole night. Thanks for help!

vtec oil pressure switch code = no vtec

Are you sure you have cel 22? I think thats the code for VOPS. I know with the p13 a cel for VOPS = limp mode and a rev limit of 6k, since you seem to be able rev it out then you may not have a VOPS code. Double check your codes...Something doesnt make sense.

And why arent you using a p72?

Have you been to a dyno yet?

I was honestly told that a p72 and a p28 would be around the same once you added the hondata to them. i picked up the ecu from a buddy of mine that is also having problems with his vtec. He purchased it from Racing Trendz out of Denver CO. Don't know who they got it from? Think it was a bad idea? Still have the stock ecu. Alright I just pulled the codes again. 6 and 22, and I swear it's 22. Any other ideas?

Alright, changed my username. Gonna rewire the whole car. Ricepicker is gonna' help, gonna use all accord harness this time. Last time I used the Prelude motor harness and couldn't tell you why. Wasn't thinking. Do you really think I'm losing HP buy using that P28 because both runners are constanly open? Could that be bad?
