brake tru??????????/
while watching v8 supercars today, i saw a commertial for brake tru. its some thing that is supposed to resurface rotors by puttin this plate w/ holes in it between pads and rotors. then u spin the wheels upwhile the car is on stands and apply brakes. they even had someone endorcing the product with a fire suit on and scca patches on it. anyone else see this??? looks super sketchey.

Spencer,
With rotors as cheap as they are for our cars, why bother trying to get them ture again? Just replace them, and if there is enough life on the old ones, most auto parts stores will take them and issue you credit rather than just throwing them away.
How's the car coming by the way?

oh i never intended on buying this product (or any on an infomertial generally) but i just wonderd if anyone had seen it. the commertial was kinda funny. they were basically saying that people change there pads but there brakes are still shudderin cause they need rotors. but then there implying that its harder to remove the rotor than the pad. on every car i have had, once the caliper is of the rotor falls right off (i dont use the screws on the honda)

the car is commin alond well btw. i got the roll bar in (sorry i havent called chris. finalls+corprate walkthrough @ work=shot spencer). i've been fixing some things lately. did a wheelberring and hub (thank you limerock park) i have all my sus goodies, but am too lazy to get out there in the cold to install them. i still have to get upper shock mounts too so i can just pull the old and put in the new. i cant wait to run sts next year. get my but handed to me big time. oh wait, just like normal
