my rear cross member on the right side has a slight crack in it? what could cause this?my friends 88 crx si has the same prob... both our cars are lowered his chopped springs mine coilovers?some one please help.... thanks.. ps im new to this board with a s/n on here i used to just read all the topics and check it out .. seeya

has it been slid off the road or somethign? thats the only time i've noticed anything like that.

 

na was never slid offroad.. i have an extra one but i dun wanna replace it looks like a biotch to do....was in a lil tiny accident 2 years ago just needed a fender..hmmmmm

 

how bad is the crack?

 

are you talking about the spot where the arms attach? have any pics?

 

crack is about maybe 3 inches right behind the inner tie rod....i will take pics next time its on the lift... thanks

 

That happened to my EF so I just replaced it and now it's good....

 

are you running a rear swaybar?
