Default thing to hold throttle cable against the throttle body the metal tube?

ever have that break on you? i keep snapping the tube at the end near the bolt...

this is for an F22A1 a.k.a. 1990 Accord EX (Canadian)
yesterday i went to pass a civic sedan with altezza's who was picking on a hatch then my throttle cable tube thing snapped and the pedal became loose as a ****

its currently held together with 5 zip ties in all sorts of directions to make up for the piece that keeps snapping....

i'm on my like 3rd one already is there some sort of aftermarket alternative? it seems to be a weak design that can't handle heat and extreme cold i guess
