Default h22a engine question

Hey guys,
I'm gonna get a h22a prelude engine (decided to stick with the accord for all you that responded to my rsx or accord thread). Now i'm gonna turbo charge it, so should I get the type s engine which has 20 more hp over the regular h22 engine. I heard if i'm turboing it to just get teh regular engine (200hp one)..any facts, comments, opinions, professional advice, etc. would help. thanks!

if you are going to turbo charge or supercharge it stick with the normal H22A, but my suggestion would be turbo charge the F22B, and if you are going to build it, build the F22B as well, the limits of turbo chargin on the H22A could be higher, but the F22B will give you lots of torque which are needed to move our fatty accord.

het the reg one what makes the type s have more power is the head(cams, and intake manifold) the valves and retainers are better as well but the main thing that gives it more power is the pistions they are higher compression if your gunna be stock and turbo it turboing the type s you will have to run lower boost

ok, yes, but look at this
H22A(which you don't know how many miles or condition is)+instalation (if you decide to pay for that)+turbo kit= +-6k

F22B (free) +turbo kit= +-3K (it will last a while till you have to rebuild it)

and if you decide to rebuild
F22B(free)+golden eagle sleeves+pistons+rods+turbo= +- 5K

lot's of torque= PRICELESS!

EDIT: F22B engines have a strong reputation of being really strong and good for boost, it has a long stroke ratio which equals to higher torque, but not good for high RPMs, but with a turbo you don't need high RPMs

I guess you've never turbocharged an h22 before. Why are you recommending the f22b? Comon, SOHC vs. DOHC???? DOHC makes a big difference. Here's my advice. Save up a lot of money. Buy an H22a, have it built up, and then put it in your car + turbo.

This is where you lost me.....the H22 will cost what a turbo kit would cost if not more.

You know my opinion on the matter.
