Default Plz identify this header for a newbie

Sorry for the stupid post but I'm not an expert on these things and don't want to get scammed.

I've found this header for sale locally and want to know:

(1) Is it appropriate for a USDM B18c5.

(2) Will it bolt up to the ITR cat

(3) Approximate value

(4) Can I expect any gains without a V-afc?

As you can see it is scraped on the bottom but is not dented. The seller claims it's a DC 4-1 JDM Stainless Steel Header with a 2.5" collector.

I currently only have a AEM CAI and a cat-back exhaust.

Any comments would be appreciated.

Aaron.

Looks like the JDM DC 4-1 to me, cant really tell for sure since i cant measure the collector in person. I wouldnt pay more than 225 for it.

definitely is a JDM 4-1, wont bolt up to stock cat.
the collector on the header is 2.5", stock cat. is 2 1/4"
you would see some nice gains but nothing spectacular, if you want a nice header that will bolt up to your stock cat I'm selling a 4-2-1 Comptech TIG welded s/s header...

It's not a JDM 4-1, it's a DC JDM 4-1. It will hang lower than the oil pan. You can expect come noticeable gains with this header and a hi flow cat. You will need an s2000 donut gasket for the collector. Looks ok, looks like it was scratched pretty good. Approximate value? New about $350, I think.

you will get better gains with a vafc.

Thanks guys. He wants $340 for it. From what I'm hearing that's what a new one will cost...

Any other opinions out there?

Aaron.

$340 US = 525 CDN. Thanks for the advice guys. I told the seller I'm not interested at that price.

DC JDM basically worthless once installed, I'd offer him $200 USD for it.
