have a jdm 96 itr motor in a 1996 civic. motor went in 3 days ago. ran perfect. driving on the freeway, the car starts to bog in mid rpm range, get off the off ramp and the car dies. turns over and gets spark, new fuel pump with the engine. what could this be???

ps, when it first died, it threw 2 codes. Coolent temp and ELD(eloectronic load detecter) the alternater is 99 and all the fuses are good.

it could be a lot of things, need a bit more info...are u geting a CEL? did u check your fuses.....thats exactly what happened to me when i blew a fuse.....exactly.

 

no bad fuses. not out of gas. No more codes. tried 2 different ecus, distributers, new plug wires, new spark plugs. Here is the wierd part. the car is getting fuel and spark and wont start. timing is all right.no bad fuses.
