Default For turbo accord

Wasup people,
Need your thoughts on this.......I want to get a turbo for my H22Accord, but I don't want my exhaust to be too loud. Cause I would have to get 2.5" or 3" Piping for my set up, but What If I use a 5th gen. Prelude muffler.

The Muffler would make sure that my exhaust wouldn't be loud, but would there be any draw back to that??

from what i understand your car shouldnt be that loud because half of the exhaust gases is going back through your car, the only time ive ever heard a lound turboed car was when they were running big boost

That **** will be as load as **** unless it's a stock 3 inch exhaust with cat and resinator.

there isnt a stoc 3" exhaust buddy

i can help you get a setup that you will be happy with

three inch wont be that loud and turbo cars are quieter than NA cars anyways

a little of topic...I know that the N/A is better for your engine but some friends of mine say that if you run 5psi for local driving and higher psi for racing than the engine should last longer..any truth in that?

turbos arent bad for engines thats bad information

bad setups no tuning and or bad tuning or bad for your engine
if i had all the time and the money in the world i could build and engine and run 20psi on it all day and it would last longer than a diesel motor

also you should start a turbo project thinking "uh i wanna run 8 pounds" you should have some sort of power aspect that your wanting to create 8 pounds is will output differnet power on different sized turbos. build the motor take car of the motor keep your maintance to spec or better and it will have a good long life
