does anyone know what type of grease I need to reinstall my shifter???

Default does anyone know what type of grease I need to reinstall my shifter???

selling my skunk 2, so I need to put my stock one back in, along with some ES shifter bushings. Do I really need the grease?? cuz I don't have any. And if I do need the grease, what kind??? could i get it at Kragen or like at Home Depot??

Thanks for any help. please list brand name

I used teflon grease and it worked great, it's expensive stuff but we've got tons of it laying around the shop. Very good stuff

you can also use silicone grease.

any kind of automotive grease will work fine, the teflon grease I was refering too is called "Magnalube"

i use sp00n grease exclusively.....nothing but the best for my '79 'bird.

well some guy said he wanted it, but you know how that goes. people flake. The shifter does not fit stock **** for some reason, which is why i rethreaded my stock ****. if you buy them both we might have a deal. 175 shipped for the shifter and the genuine type-r ****
