Default Performance Engineering Books

Can anyone recommend a book which goes into specific detail of: *Engineering of an engine *DETAILED Performance Tunning *Engineering of a Honda Engine *Engineering of specific Engine Areas, such as Compression, Transmission, Suspension, Fuel, ect. Im am an engineering Major and I want to one day be able to produce my own parts. First I will need an extremely vast knowledge of Performance engineering dealing with cars, specifically sport compacts.

Go to Banres and Noble...I don't remember the names, but along the lines of "Desktop Dynos" and this green/ blue book with a picture of an engine on it. These books should be on the shelves. Interesting stuff.
