im pondering on getting this set up, if a rotor, brakepad, etc. or something breaks will i be up shiet creek, cause the lug conversion is different from us specs? i dont want to have a warped rotor or something else go wrong and cant get it fixed
good question, but i think although the lug pattern is 4x114.3, there is parts readily available. but all in all, im curious too, just so i know, knowledge is power
you guys talkin about the 96 civic type-r 4 lug? i thought it was the 90-97 accord and 92-96 prelude lug pattern
but what the hell do i know
me

anyone know?
anyone know?
i think the 96 ctr is the only 4-lug type-r ever. NOW I COULD BE WRONG... but make sure of exactly what it is that youre getting before you do anything else. and what kind of car do you have?? you gotta tell us this ****

From what i've learned, the Integra Type-R in Japan had 4 lug wheels (4X114.3) from midway in 1995 to 1997. I'm thinking about getting this conversion myself, but i'm wondering what aftermarket companies makes brake components for this setup... Anybody know?

ok after a lil researching i found out the older accords have the same lug pattern(4x114.3)so would that mean i would get accord rotors? an what would i use for brake pads? gsr? type r? etc..
I'm not sure if this would work..but i was contemplating the same things you guys were. This is what i came up with....
1. get the swap
2. get 93-96/ 97-02 prelude/integra type r/ accord wagon calipers
3 get 93-96 prelude rotors... 4x114.3 and 11 inches
swap it all in..

bump! anyone? somones got too know this
I actually helped a ffriend (ff ryan) slap this 95.5-97 4x114 ITR sus type on his Delsol this past weekend. FFrom past experience, you can use any 90+ Accord/Prelude rotors with this sus. As for brake pads, you have to use 94+ non-R Integra brake pads since the calipers are exactly the same as all 94+ non-R US integra's.
and btw... there were no 4-lug CTR's ...ever, only 4-lug SiR's.

ah now for another question, will that jdm 4 lug conversion bolt directly to my eg? or is the hole for the axle going to be bigger then the one on mine? (gsr axles) since i heard jdm 5 lug conversion is bigger then the u.s. specs.

Like I mentioned, we put this 4x114 ITR sus on a Delsol this past weekend. Any US Integra axles will plug into the front 4x114 wheel hub/bearing(s), its the normal 32mm size, not the 36mm size found on JDM only 98+ ITR wheel hub/bearings (also found on CRV's).
Do any aftermarket companies make performance (bigger) rotors / calipers for this swap (4x114.3)???
