Default 5-lugin question

Heres a pick of my R with my project civic:

The Question:

looking to take my civic to the track instead of using my R. Instead of going on Passwordjdm and buying a 5 lug conversion for a ton of money, why cant i just replace the hubs on my civic with a 5 lug hub? ive never herd of anyone doing this and from what i have researched i can:

-Put integra front assembly on civic
-Get hubs and bearings all the way round
-01+ Prelude or Type R calipers and rotors

and thats it....why have i never herd anyone taking this cheaper route when doing a 5 lug conversion? I can have a 5 lug conversion for under $300-$400

You would need the ITR knuckles as well. I was thinking about doing this a couple of years back. And just decided to buy the whole conversion. Was kind of scared I would press the bearings wrong or something. Besides, new bearings (and I would only buy them new) are way too expensive anyway.

Never thought of it. Would like to know if this would work too. If it does, this would be my next project.

doesn't work because type r rear spindles are longer then ls/gsr and acura only sells the rear spindle with the trailing arm... way too expensive because of that... it is much cheaper and easier to buy used complete type r suspension...

or you can use a mazda axle nut on the rear and risk a wheel rolling past you on the highway... not very safe...
