Some fuel setup questions....
To keep my idle purdy as stock, and to save a bit of money, I am thinking of using a low rate FMU with my 450cc injectors, and ZDyne.
I am going with an Aremotive pump with SS lines, Aremotive regulator, and AEM fuel rail to support the system.
I was thinking 6:1 ish.......?
Would this setup have the tuning capability close to that of a bigger injector setup?
What is your opinion?
Thanks

Well I was thinking I could lower it to a safe running level at idle, change the pulse width on the fuel map with the ZDyne, and then just have the FMU increase the pressure with boost.
Then any points of exessive lean/rich in the Map, I would let the tuner correct with the ZDyne.
yay? nay?
Thanks

Why?
Because I don't think I will be able to idle 720cc injectors on a tiny ZC motor.
If thats possible I might just do that.

WTF?
I AM CURRENTLY idleing 450cc injectors WITH my ZDyne at a Stock pressure of 45psi. The ZDyne has recurved the fuel map to give a stock amount of fuel at idle.
Yet 720cc injectors flow SO much that it is beyond the reach of the ZDyne to compensate at idle.
I KNOW there is someone else out there, who knows what they are talking about?
Anyone?
Thanks

Well I'm being an *** because you keep throwing me useless bull ****.
I can get the car tuned. MEANING, I can set the Fuel pressure at WHATEVER it needs to be, to run the injectors correctly. I don't need to know "what Psi to run 720's on a 450 base map".
I do however, need to know if running 720's ON STOCK fuel pressure will be beyond the capability of the ZDyne to compensate. If I lowered the overall pressure It would reduce the overall fuel capacity of the injector. Meaning, I would be limiting the power potential of the injector.
If I were to use 450's, I could therefore have a nice soft stock idle like I do now, but then have the FMU to increase the injectors potential for boost.
I am just looking for opinions on which setup to choose. Thats all.
Thanks for playing
