Default Changed to a magnaflow exhaust today...

I have 2.25'' piping from the cat back connected to a universal muffler from a speed shop.

Universal Muffler =

I went to a local place yesterday and ordered a magnaflow muffler, oval can style, non chromed. I had it installed today and what a difference. Not only does my car sound 100 times better/smoother/meaner ( and not like a tinny buzz and rattle like that other muffler had ) , but I actually felt a boost in performance too. The car pulls stronger and smoother.. When the other muffler was taken off, I definately saw the problem. The whole inside of the muffler was shot; the fiberglass or whatever is in there was all soaked with water and had come loose. I think it was actually becoming a restriction. So that goes to the trash, and now i get to enjoy a quieter smoother exhaust.

Magnaflow gets

-Cheap
-Quieter/smoother/meaner
-lifetime warranty
-Looks stock

I believe it's a 2.25" inlet and outlet. the outlet pipe/ "tip" is ofset too, but i dont' think that has anything to do with it.

I'll try to post pictures if a digicam for X-mas

Yeah, you can get the Stainless steel polished one, that looks exactly like the ES oval. The one i got was a aluminized oval ( so not so shiny ) and with the ofset tip. So the inlet comes in the middle and then the outlet is off to the side a little bit(offcenter). They all internally the same though..
