Any guess how much it would cost to have one created for a turbo that a compressor map isn't available for ?

My guess is they just throw the turbo on a flow bench and push air throught it at various CFM's and Pressure ratio's and just calculate efficiencies then plot everything...am I missing anything ?

Just a curiosity question...

btw - it's not that the compressor map doesn't exist just assume it's unavailable
