Default Is 10.5:1 compression too high

I'm running JE SRP pistons and want to go turbo. Some people tell me I need to swap out my pistons for lower compression ones like 9:1. Others tell me I can use these pistons, just don't boost more than 10 lbs.

I read before that it's all relative - lower compression pistons handle more boost and higher, less. In fact, it's better to start out with higher compression and use less boost than to make the same power with lower compression and higher boost.

What should I do?

The RSX type S has 11.0 cr and has been boosted to 10+ psi on 93 octane pump gasoline. Not sure of gas quality in PR, though.

get you some 700cc injectors, Fuel management system, Spend some money on someone WHO know the system and KNOWS what they are doing. you'll be fine with 10.5:1. Im doing the samething with my setup.
Remember its your setup dont let someone tell you different.

Easier to tune with lower comp. You loose very little low end power, but you'll never notice!
