Aw its a sad day!

Today will be the last time i drive my turbo honda. Im going to remove all the parts tonight and sell them off.

The reason? My motor is shot. Its old. I got it about 8 months ago from a freind for free..it has like 200,000 miles on it. I was boosting 12psi on it. The rings finally died. I did a compression test yesterday..

#1 70psi
#2 155psi
#3 145psi
#4 180psi

It still runs...smokes alot..burns lots of oil..but it runs. I need to sell off the turbo parts to buy a new engine. I think im going to get a b16a or something...but the turbo has to go.

Can't beat a free engine though!

Been a while since I have seen you post on here....

 

Well the girlfriend moved in....and work has been busy...sad i know.

I got 15,000 miles out the free engine..so i cant complain!

Do a budget re-build, file fit a set of over size rings, Maybe pistons if you cracked one, de glaze the bores and put her back together. May be you might get another 20,000 miles out of it.

Thats how my last 2 motors were...misc parts pieced together. they dont last. I really need a reliable car right now...
