Default JRSC Users...w/Nitrous

This is a repost due to no responses in the Teg Forum.

Ok...I am rebuilding my car with JE 9:8:1/Eagle rods, thicker headgasket and a thicker headgasket. My question is if you think that will be adequete for a NOS set up. I am interested in running about a 30 shot or so, it works wonders with the JRSC by cooling the intake charge drastically.
I am looking for previous set ups that people have used or any advice. Thanks again.

The car will also be Hondata 3b tuned

I haven't done it myself, but a 15 shot on a 6psi JRSC will add 25-30hp. It seems like you get double the power of the nitrous shot # because of the cooling effect on top of the nitrous effect.

With your mods and the hondata, it sounds like a quick dragger with plenty of torque for the street too.

How about running 10psi and a 30 shot? You should be over 300hp at the wheels.

First off, If you are going to reuild the motor, go with 9.0:1 compression pistons and no thicker head gasket. With that setup, I would recommend a 30 shot using a single fogger wet setup. In a lighter car (CRX DX -2300 lbs w/ driver) we ran stock boost and a 30 shot on stock motor. Ran 11.88 @ 113. Might want to think about te built motor and not doing it depending on what you want from the car. You can check out my website for more info: http://www.hometown.aol.com/SXeBrian/XXXRacing.html

If you were asking me, no. I don't have heat problems.

I drive my car hard. Except for autocrosses and HPDE, mostly I'm just driving to those events!

I spent a day on the road race track redlining 3rd and 4th constantly for 4 25min. sessions.

It's all in the tuning baby!
