I guy's
I looked in the search, I found nothing,
Here what I need, I have a shop manual, but the tranny view they give me is the one with a tranny that got a 3 part housing, like : bell housing, tranny gear housing, and a little cap over it, on the top. I don't know what year/model this tranny could be but my pl3/3000 housing is not made that way I am absolutly shure I can't take this apart since there is no join between.
please post a pic of an exploded view of your tanny in a shop manual. Si Btw.
thanks a lot

You have a Haynes manual, don't you......
They have 6 pics at the site above:
countershaft:
mainshaft:
housing / diff:
shift forks:
shift rods:
other half of the housing:
I have a good pic on paper that my local tranny shop let me copy out of their books, but I don't have a scanner or i'd post it.

i am in the wa of taking my si tranny apart and rebuilding it...
the pictures of the tranny in your haynes manual is for a 3rd gen civic, which as you now know is totally different than the 4th gen.
what do you need to know exactly? i know there are a few of us on the board who can answer your questions.
on a side note, i should be pulling apart a tranny soon. i hope to take many pictures of the process.

all haynes it good for is valve adjustments and timing stuff! they're not worth the money. look on ebay and get a honda manual if you can. much better.

thaks for the fast answer, and the pics,
I would have ansewred sooner but I'm sick these day and have to sleep since I can't eat nothing, I don't know what is that **** but danm it suck.
I effectively got a Haynes manual, I always have doubt with it, since it's for 1984 to 1991 civic. I will have a look at the Honda motor Co book as soon as I can do it.
Is there any things to remove except the housing bolt and everithing that's bolted to the tranny housing before taking it apart ???

yes there is!
Once you get all the bolts out, crack the case open just a little bit. then unscrew the plug on the end of the main shaft housing (#8 in the last pic I posted) behind it you will see a spring clip going around the main shaft. use a spreader to open up the spring clip until the main shaft drops out of it's hold. then you can seperate the halves.
