full suspension overkill?
I love my stock suspension more than any other aftermarket i've had on any of my other cars. I want my ITR lower though and i dont mind spending the money on a full suspension kit. I'm looking at getting the Tein RAs (rust sucks my ***, HAs not for me) or tanabe sustec pro SSs. Everyone is saying this is an over kill since I dont autocross but I like hauling *** around tight corners and wouldnt mind doing it faster than i already am. is a full suspension on a ITR overkill or would i be as happy with some GCs and koni yellow's?
if not spoon, KG's are sweet ask Mike, here's a link: http://www.ipsracing.com/suspension/...21springs.html

Have you done any HPDEs yet?
If not then try one and then you will learn the car even better and be able to make the biotch take turns much faster.
I know what you want, but after I went to two HPDEs I thought to myself "na don't mess around with the stock stuff it's pretty damm good"
If you think you want some more grip on the turns then Try the Falken Azenis tires on all four corners.

No one seemed to read what he said.
He wants a lower "look" and doesn't auto-x or track the acr. He knows the stock suspension is the **** and is concious enough of that to want the lower "look" suspension to be as good or an improvement.
I would get a full suspension setup if you can afford it just to keep with the performance aspect of the car. Look at the Zeal Function B2's. MUCH cheaper and a good setup. I have the HA's BTW and no rust here. I don't live up north but I also spray them off and keep WD40 on them.

Not everyone can or wants to drive like an F1 driver, and I think this guy is one of those folks. So, while the "learn to drive" may be good advice, let's just stick to the topic.
If you are looking for something just to lower the car a bit, Look at Spoon or KG/mm springs, or even a set of Ground Control coilovers with decent springrates for the stock shocks. You don't need to spend a grip on suspension that you'll just use on the street. I would *never* have a $2000 suspension on a dedicated street car that would never see the track.

retail on spoon springs is like 320...i would like to handle like a F1 car. What about neuspeed race springs? I really only want to drop $1500 into my suspension. I dont really want to spend more than that (since its strictly a street car, well i do go to the drag strip a lot but that deoesnt matter too much.)\
p.s. How do you like your HAs?
