gettin tranny back on
ive been trying with 4 people and a jack and ropes. just cant get it lined up. any hints or advice
Get one in, and get it lined up and threaded right. Then go bolt by bolt. Don't start tightening until you've got them all in. This procedure helped me last time.

oooh man, this is funny.
I spent about 2 hours lining mine up today - by myself. It's a bitch I know..
The trick is to get it on as STRAIGHT as possible. And the bolts, tighten them in a cross pattern or else you're wasting time.
I bolted a engine lift to one of the mount bolts and hired it up - it still wasn't easy. I will NEVER mess around with the tranny again unless I have a tranny lift.
