check and see if you have any fuel feeding into the motor.. a similar situation just happened to a friend of mine.. it turned out that her igniter in the distributor burned out..

What kind of car is the motor in- Si or Si motor swapped into 92-95? When it starts does it start up rev then drop and shut off and then won't turn on after that, then if you give a good 5-10 min. it will start up again?

Mine had a similar problem. Sometimes it would start and run fine, other times it would start and die after a second or two and wouldn't start up again for a good 5 minutes or so then it was fine. Often this would happen after I turned the car off and came back to turn it on again..... the answer for me was a bad Main Relay. You can pull your main relay (under the dash by the hoop pop latch) and can test it for continuity across different circuits. If you have a Helms it will tell you how. Brand new the part is like $30 or something cheap and it completely fixed my random dying and starting problem. The main relay (fuel main relay) controls the power to the fuel pump which would cause the car to start up then lose fuel pressure and die. Good luck , hope something small like that is the problem, but I suggest testing your relay before just running out and buying a new one.

Sounds like the PGM-FI main relay to me too.

It could be one of two things. Either the main relay is dieing, if this were the case the check engine lamp would not come on when cranking, after the car will not start or it died. The other problem could be the electrical portion of your ignition switch is going bad.

Actually even if the main relay is going bad or out, the check engine lamp still comes on after the car has died or when the ignition is turned on. Thats why it took me some time to narrow down the problem, nothing was acting different (besides my car obviously not starting and dying )
