Default guage question: jrsc and egt

i have a wideband a/f meter on the way, but i dont know if it would still be a good idea to get an egt. i wouldnt need it for a/f obviously, but would it be a good idea since the jrsc is known for heating intake charges? i dont have a j&s or anything - would an egt guage give me a good idea of when things are getting too hot? if you really dont think i need one, then i'll save myself the money. but, if you feel it'd be really useful on my setup, i guess it'd be worth forking over the extra money.

thanks

Ya, it will be useful. The information they give you does overlap with the wbo2 somewhat, but it still going to help you tune your a/f ratio. Is it a good idea for YOU to buy one or not?.. depends on what else the money could be better spent on. If money is an issue for you, you can always put together a cheap setup from aircraftspruce.com parts. Maybe as low as 60$. Check out their westach stuff.
